Project Stakeholders

Guideline Goal

To ensure the participation, contribution and satisfaction of the project's stakeholders for purposes of optimizing, and the consequent success of, the facility/system/product/service

Expectations - 1 (Concerning Stakeholders)

The Project's Concept Phase Manager will:

• Identify all of the project's stakeholders and establish their requirements
• Carefully analyzed these requirements in order to ascertain the most cost-effective and affordable alternatives as solutions to the need
• Review the findings with those stakeholders most affected
• Conduct an iterative process until consent is obtained
• Complete the required documentation

Expectations - 2 (Concerning Stakeholders)

The Project's Definition Phase Manager will:

• Obtain input from stakeholders at appropriate times to update the scope description
• Verify that the requirements have not changed since the Concept Phase, and that
• Verify that the solution still meets the requirements
• Complete the required documentation and obtain stakeholder sign-off

Expectations - 3 (Concerning Stakeholders)

The Project's Production Phases Manager will:

• Maintain stakeholder contacts
  • To ensure that the final facility/system/product/service will be accepted for transfer of "care, custody and control"
• Obtain final stakeholder acceptance
